The challenges of spring, namely high rainfall and humidity gave way to consistently warm temperatures. These conditions saw an earlier than expected start to the season, and a very compressed vintage which produced balanced wines with concentrated flavours. |

The highly aromatic viognier is a variety that works well as a late-picked dessert-style wine. This one is outstanding. Captures the gingery apricot kernel and orange zest of the variety perfectly. The late picking after cane cutting has allowed the luscious honey nectar and apricot flavours to build. The natural tannins of the variety along with the clever acidity have held the line through to a long non—cloying finish.
