At Yering Station we believe that complementary to the partnership of food and wine is the realm of visual art. The Cellar Door and Matt's Bar upstairs are home to constantly rotating exhibitions. The historic walls of hand made bricks create a unique hanging space for a broad range of works. With a glass of wine in hand, the perfect opportunity to contemplate stimulating works is presented. Yering Station and the Rathbone family have been long time supporters of LARCH, the Leukaemia Auxiliary of the Royal Children’s Hospital. A percentage of art sales are donated to the foundation.
An added dimension of art on the Yering Station property occurs with the annual Yering Station Sculpture Exhibition and Awards which take place each spring. Visitors are encouraged to explore the beautiful grounds and stunning architecture in search of the creatively installed works, found all around the property. The 'People's Choice' Award allows interaction and participation in the acclaimed sculpture event.
